Dear Soccer Community,

I hope you are well, filled with the same passion and enthusiasm that Becky Matthews held for the beautiful game of soccer. Today, I write to you with a heartfelt plea to honor the memory of Becky and continue her incredible legacy.

Becky Matthews was not just a soccer mom; she was a beacon of hope and opportunity for countless children in our community. She made it her mission to ensure that every child, regardless of their financial circumstances, had the chance to experience the joy of playing soccer at Magic. In the early days of Magic, Becky went above and beyond, even purchasing an eight-seater vehicle to transport kids to tournaments. She created multiple accounts to fund these children's participation, demonstrating her commitment to their well-being and happiness.

Even in her final moments, Becky's selflessness shone through. Instead of flowers at her funeral, she asked for donations to Magic, so more children could play in the Magic Soccer program. Today, Becky may not be with us physically, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

To honor Becky's memory, we are proud to announce the establishment of the Becky Matthews Tournament Travel Scholarship. This scholarship, valued at $2000 each season, aims to support families who may struggle to afford tournament expenses. We believe that every child deserves the chance to participate in these events, regardless of financial barriers.

But we cannot achieve this alone. We need your help to fund this scholarship and ensure that Becky's legacy continues to brighten the lives of young soccer players in our community. Whether you can contribute $2000 or $50, every donation counts towards our goal.
